Research Project Overview
Over this year you will be responsible for proposing a research experiment for a topic that interests you. This will be worth 15% of your overall grade and will be split up into three different components for each the three different trimesters throughout the year.

-the field of biology you would like to focus your further research on

-a question you would like to answer with an experiment

How To Summarize a Research Article
Your summary should be a long paragraph with at least six sentences answering all of the questions below.
Questions you should answer:
1. What topic in science is this article about?
2. Was there a hypothesis in this article?
3. How was the procedure for the finding or experiment in this article?
4. What were the results of the experiment/finding?
5. What were the conclusions that the experiments reached?
6. What questions do you have about the research in this article? (How could you answer these?)
